Ibu Elok, Hartatik, mengatakan, sang anak merupakan petugas kantin di KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya yang baru sebulan bekerja di kapal tersebut.
Elok sendiri merupakan single parents yang harus menghidupi dua anaknya seusai suaminya meninggal dunia setahun lalu.
Anak pertamanya baru lulus SD dan hendak masuk SMP, sedangkan anak kedua Elok baru berusia empat tahun.
