Ia menyatakan, menghormati langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh KPK dalam rangka upaya pemberantasan dan penyelamatan keuangan negara.
Muzani menambahkan, MPR akan mengikuti perkembangan penyelesaian masalah ini, termasuk hasil klarifikasi dari Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) MPR.
Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) mengungkap nilai gratifikasi yang diterima tersangka dalam kasus pengadaan barang dan jasa di Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat (MPR) RI mencapai belasan miliar rupiah.
KPK telah menetapkan satu orang tersangka dalam kasus ini.
Lembaga antirasuah belum membuka secara gamblang siapa pihak yang dijerat dalam perkara ini.
Komisi antikorupsi baru menyebut tersangka yang dijerat merupakan penyelenggara negara.
