Nuove proteste sono scoppiate a Los Angeles contro i raid delle autorità per l'immigrazione. Secondo quanto riferito dai media locali i manifestanti si sono scontrati con la polizia fuori da un grande negozio di mobili, Home Depot. Intanto decine di persone sono state fermate per le manifestazioni di venerdì nel centro della città. Gli agenti in assetto antisommossa, con elmetti e scudi, si sono radunati nella zona e si sono scontrati con i manifestanti che da due giorni stanno protestando.Sugli scontri a Los Angeles è intervenuto anche Donald Trump. «Il governatore della California, Gavin Newscum, e il sindaco di Los Angeles, Karen Bass, non riescono a fare il loro lavoro, cosa che tutti sanno, allora il governo federale interverrà e risolverà il problema delle rivolte e dei saccheggiatori nel modo giusto!!!». Lo ha scritto il presidente Usa su Truth, usando il soprannome dispregiativo che ha affibbiato al governatore della California Newsom, dove «scum» vuole dire spazzatura.
