Destiny 2 Ash & Iron - Contraverse Hold Void Warlock is Finally Back and Better Than Ever, But Not With Vortex - Solo Flawless Ultimate Insight Terminus -35 Power A+ Score. Just a quick video showing more Contraverse Hold gameplay after the recent Warlock buffs and changes to Chaos Accelerant, which make Void Warlock feel better than ever.The recent Warlock changes made a huge improvement to basically everything in their kit, but especially for Void Warlock. Using this setup now brings Contraverse back to the original levels when it meta, if not stronger than before. And as though it's some strange callback to D1, we now basically get OG Nothing Manacles from D1 and Contraverse Hold in D2 combined. It's a really fun gameplay loop, and holds up well. There's still probably other builds that perform better due to the nature of prismatic and lack of amplified, but it does well regardless.
I did also test Vortex Grenades, and while they're obviously better than before, Scatter Grenades are where it's at. Axion also works well for return in groups of enemies, but feel bad when you're in a more single target situation. So I think Scatter feels the best overall.
