"رويترز": باكستان تنشر طائرات مقاتلة وآلاف الجنود في السعودية خلال حرب إيران
نشرت باكستان 8 آلاف جندي وسربا من الطائرات النفاثة المقاتلة ومنظومة دفاع جوي في السعودية بموجب اتفاقية دفاعية، في تعزيز للتعاون العسكري مع الرياض.
وقد تم تأكيد هذا الانتشار، الذي كشفت وكالة "رويترز" نطاقه الكامل اليوم لأول مرة، من قبل ثلاثة مسؤولين أمنيين ومصدرين حكوميين. ووصف المصادر هذه القوات بأنها قوة كبيرة وقادرة على القتال، وتهدف إلى دعم الجيش السعودي في حال تعرضت المملكة لمزيد من الهجمات.
ولم يصدر رد فعل فوري من الجيش الباكستاني أو وزارة الخارجية أو المكتب الإعلامي للحكومة السعودية على طلبات التعليق حول هذا الانتشار.
ووفقا للمصادر، فإن الشروط الكاملة للاتفاقية الدفاعية، التي تم توقيعها العام الماضي، تظل سرية، لكن كلا الجانبين أكدا أنها تلزم باكستان والسعودية بالدفاع عن بعضهما البعض في حالة وقوع أي هجوم. وكان وزير الدفاع الباكستاني خواجة آصف قد ألمح سابقاً إلى أن هذه الاتفاقية تضع المملكة العربية السعودية تحت المظلة النووية الباكستانية.
ووفقا للمصادر، نشرت باكستان سربا كاملا يضم حوالي 16 طائرة مقاتلة، معظمها من طراز "جيه إف-17" المصنعة بالتعاون مع الصين، وقد تم إرسال هذه الطائرات إلى السعودية في أوائل أبريل الماضي. كما أشار اثنان من المسؤولين الأمنيين إلى أن باكستان أرسلت أيضا سربين من الطائرات بدون طيار.
وأكدت جميع المصادر الخمسة أن الانتشار يشمل حوالي 8 آلاف جندي، مع تعهد بإرسال المزيد من القوات إذا لزم الأمر، بالإضافة إلى نظام دفاع جوي صيني من طراز "إتش كيو-9"
