Besonders betroffen ist das Sommercamp Mystic in der Region County. Heftiger Regen überraschte zahlreiche Camper, der Pegel des Guadalupe River stieg innerhalb von 45 Minuten um rund acht Meter. Fotos zeigen massive Zerstörungen. Präsident Donald Trump entsandte seine Heimatschutzministerin in das Katastrophengebiet, um die Koordination der Hilfsmaßnahmen zu übernehmen.
