During our Bihar election coverage, we visited several Sanskrit schools and colleges and found their condition worse than expected. Many school buildings have turned into ruins, libraries are being used as bedrooms, and goats were tied inside some campuses. Teachers revealed that they haven’t received salaries for months and no government funds are provided for infrastructure. While politics is done in the name of Sanskrit, the actual education system is collapsing.
