Presidente Xi Jinping transmite sus condolencias a Jamaica

El presidente chino, Xi Jinping, transmitió el lunes sus condolencias por las víctimas mortales y los graves daños materiales ocasionados por el huracán Melissa que recientemente azotó a Jamaica. A través de un mensaje dirigido al gobernador general de Jamaica, Patrick Allen, Xi, en nombre del Gobierno y del pueblo chinos, transmitió sus más sentidas condolencias por los fallecidos y expresó solidaridad con las familias de luto, los heridos y las comunidades afectadas. Al calificar a Jamaica de socio estratégico de China, Xi manifestó la disposición del país asiático a ofrecer asistencia al pueblo jamaicano, apoyándolo en sus esfuerzos por superar el desastre y reconstruir sus hogares lo antes posible.
