Bahkan Kapolres Mojokerto, AKBP Ihram Kustarto seperti bergidik ketika mengungkapkan bahwa selama menangani kasus kejahatan, tidak ada yang sekeji dilakukan tersangka AM (24).
"Tulang (korban) sampai dipotong sampai ratusan. Selama 20 tahun saya menjadi polisi, dari IPDA ke AKBP baru kali ini melihat serpihan potongan manusia diperlakukan layaknya hewan yang hendak digunakan santapan potongan kecil-kecil," kata Ihram.
Pelaku AM, warga Desa Aek Paing, Kecamatan Rantau Utara, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu, Sumatera Utara, diketahui merupakan kekasih korban TAS yang merupakan warga Desa Made, Kecamatan/Kabupaten Lamongan.
Pria itu tega membunuh dan memutilasi pacarnya kemudian membuangnya sampai berceceran di tepi Jalan Raya Pacet-Cangar, Dusun Pacet Selatan, Kabupaten Mojokerto.
Dengan cara itu, diduga AM mencoba menutupi perbuatannya dan menghilangkan jejak. Tetapi tidak ada kejahatan yang sempurna, karena kunci terkuaknya kejahatan kemanusiaan itu adalah potongan kaki kiri korban.
