Bandara Kathmandu Kembali Dibuka, 18 WNI Tinggalkan Nepal | KOMPAS PETANG

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Pemerintah terus mengawasi dan membantu pemulangan WNI yang berada di Nepal usai demo berujung kerusuhan terjadi di sana.

Kementerian Luar Negeri memastikan seluruh WNI yang berada di Nepal dalam kondisi aman. Data terakhir menyebutkan ada 116 WNI yang berada di Nepal.

Seiring dengan kembali dibukanya bandara di Kathmandu, sebagian WNI telah meninggalkan Nepal. Terakhir, 18 orang telah meninggalkan Nepal.

Saat ini masih ada 60 WNI yang kembali akan meninggalkan Nepal. Kemlu terus mengawasi situasi di negara tersebut. Dua orang dari Kemlu sudah berada di Nepal untuk membantu kepulangan WNI.

Pascademo berujung kerusuhan yang berlangsung awal pekan ini, posisi kepemimpinan di Nepal masih kosong.

Demo justru kembali terjadi di luar Markas Besar Angkatan Darat Nepal di Kathmandu pada hari Kamis kemarin.

Demonstrasi dilakukan oleh kelompok berbeda yang datang untuk mengusulkan sosok pemimpin sementara di Nepal. Sempat terjadi bentrok di antara dua kelompok berbeda ini. Polisi terus mengawasi demo ini.
