Mieter können über die Nebenkostenabrechnung bis zu 20 Prozent haushaltsnaher Dienstleistungen beim Finanzamt geltend machen – rückwirkend für vier Jahre. Das erklärt Finanztip-Herausgeber Hermann-Josef Tenhagen im Gespräch mit Thomas Kausch. Gleichzeitig steht Deutschland eine große Steuerreform bevor: Kleinere und mittlere Einkommen bis rund 90.000 Euro brutto sollen entlastet werden. Finanziert werden könnte das über höhere Steuern für Besserverdiener, den Abbau von Subventionen wie dem Dienstwagenbonus oder eine Mehrwertsteuererhöhung auf möglicherweise 21 Prozent. Tenhagen warnt: Wer auf der einen Seite bei der Einkommensteuer entlastet wird, könnte durch steigende Mehrwertsteuer auf der anderen Seite draufzahlen.
