La PEOR expedición a la Antártida (Parte 2 de 3)

En 1912, Sir Douglas Mawson, Xavier Mertz y Belgrave Ninnis salieron con 48 perros y 3 trineos desde su base en la Antártida pensando que sería una travesía dura, sí… pero controlable. Error.
En pocos días se encontraron con ventiscas brutales, grietas gigantescas, perros muertos, una perra que da a luz en mitad del hielo, hambre, heridas, ceguera de la nieve y decisiones cada vez más salvajes para seguir con vida.

Y entonces llega el desastre absoluto: Ninnis y el trineo con la mayor parte de la comida desaparecen por una grieta de casi 46 metros. A partir de ahí, la expedición deja de ser una misión científica y se convierte en una lucha desesperada por sobrevivir en uno de los lugares más infernales del planeta.
