Irán afirma que Teherán no permitirá que Estados Unidos decida el fin de la guerra. También asegura que las conversaciones entre Irán y Omán sobre la gestión del estrecho de Ormuz han sido positivas, aunque el paso marítimo continúa cerrado.
Mientras tanto, tras casi dos semanas de ataques y contraataques entre Irán y Estados Unidos, el Ejército iraní afirma que ha suspendido sus ofensivas. La decisión llega después de que Estados Unidos detuviera sus ataques contra Irán. Sin embargo, Teherán se muestra escéptico respecto a esa decisión y considera que probablemente responde a razones tácticas. El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores iraní afirma que Estados Unidos ha intercambiado mensajes con Irán a través de mediadores.
