JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - DKPP menjatuhkan sanksi pemberhentian pada Ketua KPU Hasyim Asya'ari, Rabu (3/7/2024).Hasyim dinilai terbukti melakukan pelanggaran kode etik penyelenggara pemilu (KEPP) karena melakukan tindakan asusila terhadap seorang perempuan anggota Panitia Pemilihan Luar Negeri (PPLN) Den Haag, Belanda.
Sebelumnya, Hasyim Asya'ari sempat menjadi penceramah di depan Presiden Jokowi pada salat Idul Adha 1554 Hijriah di Lapangan Simpanglima, Semarang, 17 Juni 2024.
