Ветеран із ампутованою рукою доглядає майже 60 собак
32-річний ветеран ЗСУ Василь Величко восени 2022 року на Харківському напрямку втратив праву руку, на лівій – дві пластини ще з 2019 року, коли теж служив в ЗСУ. Але це не є перепоною, щоб жити, працювати. Два тижні тому прийшов у Першу ветеринарну клініку «Лев» у Львові, щоб погуляти з покинутими собаками. І залишився працювати. Щодня доглядає тварин, годує їх, вигулює. Собаки до нього звикли, бо відчувають любов і турботливе ставлення. А для ветерана спілкування з тваринами є реабілітацією і, водночас лікуванням. Василь служив з 2017 по 2020 роки в ЗСУ. Звільнився, коли закінчився контракт. Але коли почалась повномасштабна війна Росії проти України пішов добровольцем захищати країну. Він каже, що не потрібно падати духом, опускати руки, а шукати свій шлях і запрошує ветеранів теж в ЛКП «Лев».Автори: Галина Терещук, Мар’ян Павлик
