Coffe Par Kurukshetra With Saurav Sharma | PM Modi Appeal On Crisis Live Update : देश में इस वक्त एक बड़ी बहस छिड़ी हुई है और उसकी वजह है प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की वो अपील जो उन्होंने 24 घंटे के भीतर देशवासियों एक बार नहीं, बल्कि दो-दो बार की. पेट्रोल-डीजल के कम इस्तेमाल और 1 साल तक सोना नहीं खरीदने की अपील की.सवाल ये है कि आखिर पीएम को देशवासियों से अपील की जरुरत क्यों पड़ी, तो इसकी वजह भी है. भारत अपनी ज़रूरत का 90 फीसदी तेल इंपोर्ट करता है, दो महीने से होर्मुज़ स्ट्रेट बंद है. क्रूड की क़ीमत क़रीब 50 परसेंट बढ़ चुकी है. क़तर पर ईरान के हमले की वजह से LNG की सप्लाई ठप है.
A major debate is currently underway in the country, sparked by an appeal made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi—an appeal he addressed to the citizens not just once, but twice within a span of 24 hours. He urged the public to reduce their consumption of petrol and diesel, and to refrain from purchasing gold for a period of one year.
The question arises: why, exactly, did the Prime Minister find it necessary to make such an appeal to the nation? There is, in fact, a specific reason behind it. India imports 90 percent of its oil requirements, and the Strait of Hormuz has remained closed for the past two months. Consequently, crude oil prices have surged by nearly 50 percent. Furthermore, LNG supplies have come to a standstill following Iran's attack on Qatar.
