Rishi, a researcher of endangered language and culture, is in Dooars for field work. But he is more engrossed with the script he is writing now. Almost at the end of the story, but he could not write the climax of the mini web series he is working on. One day Tilottama suggested that he could use an AI tool named Vedbyas to complete his story. But the AI tool does more than what it is expected to do. Rishi also rediscover himself. But at what price?

সুন্দরবনের প্রেক্ষাপটে আমফান ঝড় নিয়ে একটি চিত্রনাট্য লিখতে গিয়ে হিমশিম খাচ্ছিল ঋষি। গল্পের উপযুক্ত পরিণতি খুঁজতে সে 'বেদব্যাস' নামক এক উন্নত কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তার (AI) সাহায্য নেয়। কিন্তু এই প্রযুক্তির গভীরে প্রবেশ করতে গিয়ে ঋষি নিজের অতীতের এক ভুলে যাওয়া যন্ত্রণার মুখোমুখি হয়। শেষ পর্যন্ত সে কি পারবে তার জীবনের অসম্পূর্ণ চিত্রনাট্য শেষ করতে, নাকি যন্ত্রের বুদ্ধিমত্তা তাকে এক রূঢ় বাস্তবের সামনে দাঁড় করিয়ে দেবে?
Avijit Halder born on 10th September in 1996, is a short story writer, translator, and researcher. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Comparative Indian Language and Literature at the University of Calcutta.
His notable works include the translated poetry collection 'When Tribals Sing' (2026), published by Jadavpur University Press, the original novel 'Pelema Khata Chhele' (2025) written in the context of Dalit literature, and the edited volume 'Aadhphota Phul Beler Mala' (2024). Additionally, he has served as a script translator for Doordarshan Kendra, Kolkata.
