Jet angkatan udara Israel langsung terlihat mondar-mandir di langit Lebanon.
Israel beralasan, tindakan itu diambil setelah kemarin, Selasa (18/6/2024), Hizbullah Lebanon menerbitkan video pengintaian udara menggunakan drone Hoopoe (Hudhud).
Pesawat tak berawak itu terbang di wilayah Haifa Israel.
Rekaman itu menunjukkan lokasi iron dome hingga pembangkit listrik Zionis.
Setelah melakukan penilaian bersama, Komandan Komando Utara tentara Israel, Uri Gordin lantas menyetujui serangan ke Lebanon.
"Rencana operasional untuk serangan di Lebanon telah disetujui dan keputusan diambil untuk lebih mempercepat kesiapan pasukan di lapangan," kata Komandan Komando Utara tentara Israel Uri Gordin dikutip dari Channel12, Rabu (19/6/2024).
Sementara itu, Menteri Luar Negeri Israel, Israel Katz, mengancam akan menghancurkan Hizbullah di Lebanon.
Ia meyakini, Lebanon akan kalah dan terkena pukulan telak.
“Dalam perang habis-habisan, Hizbullah akan dihancurkan dan Lebanon akan terkena pukulan telak," ujarnya.
Segera setelah pengumuman itu, jet angkatan udara Israel menyerang beberapa lokasi di Lebanon selatan.
Hizbullah diserang di daerah Taybeh, Odaisseh dan Jibbain.
Juru bicara militer Israel yang berbahasa Arab, Avichay Adraee menyebut, mereka juga menyerang bangunan militer di daerah Ayta as-Shaab.
Pertahanan udara juga berhasil mencegat target udara yang mencurigakan di ruang maritim di kawasan Jembatan Ziv Israel utara. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
