Selain itu, Marwan merupakan salah satu dokter paling senior di Gaza.
Dikenal sebagai satu dari dua ahli jantung terakhir yang tersisa di Gaza.
Menurut Kepala Perawatan RS Indonesia, Issam Nabhan, jasad Marwan dan keluarganya tak utuh saat dibawa ke RS Al-Shifa.
Sebelum tewas, Marwan tetap bertugas penuh di RS Indonesia meski kondisi rumah sakit sangat kekurangan.
Sementara itu, Direktur Muath Alser, menyebut pembunuhan Marwan sebagai kehilangan besar bagi sistem kesehatan Gaza.
Meski demikian, sosok Marwan diakui sebagai simbol ketangguhan dan pengabdian di tengah kehancuran.
