China ha activado un plan de emergencia contra las inundaciones en siete regiones de nivel provincial. En las zonas más afectadas, entre ellas Jiangxi, Hunan y Guangdong, el nivel de alerta se ha elevado a tres, mientras el tifón Noul sigue provocando lluvias torrenciales en el sur y el centro de China. El Ministerio de Recursos Hídricos ha instado a las autoridades locales de gestión de recursos hídricos a emitir alertas oportunas y a hacer un uso específico de las infraestructuras de control de inundaciones. Asimismo, ha enviado cinco equipos a las regiones afectadas para ofrecer orientación in situ sobre la gestión de las inundaciones. El Ministerio de Transporte ha activado un plan de emergencia de nivel uno por lluvias torrenciales, al tiempo que mantiene un plan de nivel dos por el tifón.
