Tegas di Forum PBB! PM Palestina Desak Hamas Segera Lucuti Senjata dan Serahkan Gaza ke Pemerintah

Perintah melucuti senjata itu disampaikan oleh Perdana Menteri Palestina Mohammad Mustafa pada Senin (28/7).
Mustafa menegaskan desakan itu dilakukan untuk memulihkan keamanan di wilayah Gaza yang dilanda perang berkelanjutan.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Mustafa dalam konferensi PBB yang membahas solusi dua negara Israel dan Palestina di New York.
Mustafa juga menyerukan di awal pertemuan bahwa pasukan internasional harus membantu menjamin berdirinya negara Palestina.
Ia juga mendesak Israel untuk menarik diri sepenuhnya dari Jalur Gaza.
"Israel harus menarik diri sepenuhnya dari Jalur Gaza, dan Hamas harus melepaskan kendalinya atas wilayah tersebut dan menyerahkan persenjataan mereka kepada Otoritas Palestina," tegas Mustafa.
Adapun konferensi PBB itu berlangsung selama tiga hari di mana Prancis dan Arab Saudi bersama-sama menjadi pimpinan pertemuan.
Dalam pertemuan itu Menteri Luar Negeri Prancis Jean Noel Barrot mengatakan bahwa hanya solusi politik kedua negara yang bisa membantu memenuhi aspirasi rakyat Israel dan Palestina.
Menurutnya solusi dua negara adalah satu-satunya jalan untuk mendamaikan konflik berkepanjangan di Jalur Gaza. (Tribun-Video.com/Kompas.com)
