VIER VW-WERKE VOR DEM AUS? Betriebsrat kündigt heftigen Widerstand anDroht bei Volkswagen ein historischer Kahlschlag? Laut dem vorliegenden Bericht sollen vier deutsche Standorte langfristig vor dem Aus stehen: Emden und Zwickau 2031, Hannover 2032 sowie der Audi-Standort Neckarsulm 2034. Als entscheidender Faktor gelten die hohen Kosten.
Betriebsrat und IG Metall kündigen Widerstand an. Die Lage ist allerdings noch dynamisch: VW-Chef Oliver Blume hatte zuletzt öffentlich erklärt, dass es für die vier Standorte bislang keine Entscheidung über mögliche Werksschließungen gebe. Für die 2030er-Jahre fehle derzeit jedoch eine wettbewerbsfähige Belegung.
