Suasana haru menyelimuti rumah duka saat jenazah Wigih Hartono tiba sekitar pukul 02.00 wib.
Jarmini, istri dari Wigih Hartono tiba beriringan dengan jenazah Wigih Hartono. Saat tiba, Jarmini tak tahan menangis. Jarmini langsung memeluk keluarga yang menunggu.
Setelah tiba di rumah duka, jenazah Wigih Hartono dishalatkan, lalu dimakamkan di Tempat Pemakaman Umum (TPU) Desa Nambak.
“Iya jam 02.00 wib dini hari tiba di rumah duka. Langsung dishalatkan di rumah duka,” ungkap Kepala Dusun Karang Tengah Kulon, Desa Nambak, Mahmudi, Minggu (21/9/2025).
Dia menjelaskan kabar Wigih Hartono terjebak longsor di tambang bawah tanah Grasberg Block Cave (GBC), Kabupaten Mimika, Provinsi Papua Tengah sudah didapati pada, 8 September 2025 lalu.
“Peristiwanya yang saya tahu begitu. Dari tanggal 8 September ada kabar bahwa longsor di Freeport,” kata Mahmudi.
