Brown University shooting: Police release new video of 'person of interest'
Police released new video of a "person of interest" in the deadly shooting at Brown University.Providence police said it plans to release additional video as part of its investigation and urge anyone who may recognize the person in the video, to contact the FBI.
Two Brown University students were killed and nine students were wounded.
The shooting happened on Dec. 13 in the Barus & Holley engineering building while final exams were underway. Brown canceled all remaining classes, exams, papers and projects for the semester and told students they could leave campus.
The shooter opened fire inside a classroom in the engineering building, firing more than 40 rounds from a 9 mm handgun, a law enforcement official told AP. Two handguns were recovered when the person of interest was taken into custody and authorities also found two loaded 30-round magazines, the official said.
