"My Goal is First Place" — Roman Khrennikov Aims for CrossFit Games Podium
Roman Khrennikov is no stranger to the spotlight.For years, he qualified for the Games but couldn’t get a visa. In 2022, he finished second overall at the CrossFit Games. Then, in 2023, a devastating injury halted his pursuit of being crowned the Fittest on Earth.
Now in 2025, Khrennikov’s only goal is to win.
“Doesn’t matter what competition … my goal is first place,” Khrennikov says.
Khrennikov isn’t satisfied with his two podium finishes. He desires to be crowned the Fittest on Earth.
“Sometimes people who make the podium two times are proud. But me? No. It’s not enough for me because I never finished first.”
