「本なんて、読まなければよかった……！」
書物の街・読長町(よむながまち)に住む高校生の御倉深冬(みくらみふゆ)。曾祖父が創立した巨大な書庫「御倉館(みくらかん)」を代々管理する一家の娘だが、当の本人は本が好きではなかった。
ある日、御倉館の本が盗まれたことで、読長町は突然物語の世界に飲み込まれてしまう。それは本にかけられた呪い――“ブックカース”だった。
呪いを解く鍵は、物語の中に――町を救うため、深冬は不思議な少女・真白とともに本泥棒を捕まえる旅に出る。泥棒の正体は一体誰なのか？そして、深冬も知らない“呪い”と“御倉家”の秘密とは……？
2人の少女が“本の世界”を旅する、謎解き冒険ファンタジーが開幕！
