How to Use the New Blemish Removal Tool in Photoshop
Adobe's new one-click Blemish Removal tool inside Camera Raw finds and removes skin blemishes in seconds, no plugins and no generative credits required.In this tutorial, we set up a Smart Object for fully non-destructive editing, run the new automatic Blemish Removal tool, and then fine-tune the result with the Fade slider and the Refine, Restore, and Remove tools. We also show how the same Remove tool (with Generative AI turned on) handles wrinkles and stray seams in clothing, not just skin.

THE STEPS
1. Convert your layer to a Smart Object so all retouching stays non-destructive
2. Open Camera Raw Filter and click Blemishes under Distraction Removal
3. Hit Apply for instant one-click blemish removal across the whole face
4. Use the Fade slider to dial blemishes back in anywhere from 0-100%
5. Click Refine to reveal every blemish detected, then paint with Restore or Remove to adjust
6. Switch to the Remove tool and click directly on stray marks to erase them
7. Turn on Use Generative AI under Remove to smooth wrinkles and seams in clothing too
8. Double-click the Camera Raw smart filter anytime to go back and re-edit non-destructively
