En Chalchihuitán, siete mujeres tzotziles decidieron cambiar la historia. Hace 22 años crearon la Casa de la Mujer Indígena, donde atienden gratuitamente a embarazadas de más de 50 comunidades a través de la partería. Enfrentando el machismo, la marginación y sin apoyo gubernamental, han logrado reducir muertes maternas en la región. Además, se capacitan constantemente para mejorar su labor.#telediariomatutino
