US-Präsident Donald Trump zeigt sich überraschend optimistisch: Der Iran-Krieg könnte bald enden. Unter dem Codenamen „Epic Fury“ laufen seit dem 28.02. militärische Operationen, die laut Trump bereits zentrale Raketenanlagen getroffen haben. Besonders brisant: Die mögliche Ausschaltung von Ayatollah Ali Chamenei wird als Wendepunkt für einen Regimewechsel gewertet. Gleichzeitig kündigt Trump einen schnellen Abzug der US-Truppen innerhalb von zwei bis drei Wochen an. Die Sicherung der Straße von Hormuz sollen künftig andere Staaten übernehmen.
