APPLE: Paukenschlag! Rekord-Nachfrage bei iPhones! Boom zu Weihnachten erwartetApple stellt sich dank der Popularität der neuen iPhone-Modelle auf sein bisher bestes Weihnachtsgeschäft ein. Der Konzern sagte für das laufende Quartal ein Umsatzplus von zehn bis zwölf Prozent im Jahresvergleich voraus. Analysten hatten im Schnitt lediglich eine Prognose mit einem Zuwachs von sechs Prozent erwartet.
Auch beim iPhone rechnet Apple mit einem prozentual zweistelligen Umsatzwachstum und einem Rekordquartal. Der Konzern hatte im September das Standard-Modell des iPhone 17 aufgewertet, bei der teureren Pro-Version unter anderem die Kamera stark verbessert - und auch ein extrem dünnes neues Modell mit dem Namen iPhone Air herausgebracht.
Schon im vergangenen Quartal mit nur wenigen Wochen der Verfügbarkeit neuer Modelle legten die iPhone-Erlöse um sechs Prozent auf gut 49 Milliarden Dollar zu. Das iPhone bleibt das mit Abstand wichtigste Apple-Produkt. Die Prognose zeigt, dass das iPhone-Geschäft doch nicht so stark wie von einigen Marktbeobachtern gedacht darunter leidet, dass Apple bei Anwendungen mit Künstlicher Intelligenz langsamer vorankommt.
