Has anyone ever thought my marriage feels like prison?Well, it may feel that way if the woman is not operating for which she was created. Women and wives were created to fulfill a certain role in marriage. When women don't fulfill that role but instead try to control and manipulate, there will be issues. The power dynamics of roles seriously impact men and women in marriage.
In this episode, let's discuss how that happens and go over a study how people take on certain roles.
Many wives are not acting the way a wife is supposed to act but still wants all the stuff a good wife gets. 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”
Women, this means as wives, you should be respecting and submitting to your husband. In Christianity, a Christian woman should be a humble woman, a submissive wife. Your Christian marriage needs a humble woman, a submissive wife. Even if your husband is not yet a believer, 1 Peter 3:1-6 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives.
Wives, this means even if your husband isn't following the Bible, you should still be a respectful, humble woman and a submissive wife. Even if you feel your husband doesn't currently deserve your respect, a wife should still be respectful. A Christian and Catholic wife should definitely understand this and be respectful to her husband in all times.
If you listen to any relationship advice, women, please learn to be a submissive wife. Begin to read your Bible, ask our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus to help you with self-control. Ask Him to help you be obedient, submissive and a godly wife. As a Christian and Catholic wife, the Lord is calling for the biblical submission of wives to your husband. As a Christian wife and a Catholic wife, don't you want peace in your marriage and in your home?
A godly wife should be humble, a godly wife should be submissive, a godly wife should be full of self control, a godly wife should have faith and show obedience to our Lord by being a submissive wife.
