Democratic Senators Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Mark Kelly of Arizona, Raphael Warnock of Georgia, and Andy Kim of New Jersey are now joining Cory Booker of New Jersey, Tim Kaine of Virginia, Chris Murphy of Connecticut, Adam Schiff of California, Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, and Tammy Duckworth of Illinois in filing a new wave of war powers resolutions related to ongoing conflict against Iran. This comes as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York says that Senate Democrats will again force a vote on a war powers resolution to rein in President Donald Trump’s military action against the nation of Iran.
