«Dopo anni di sofferenza, sono qui con voi per festeggiare la gioia della vita», dice Giovanni Allevi dal palco della sala Santa Cecilia strapiena, all’Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. Sabato 27 dicembre, il pianista e compositore ha dato il via, con un concerto speciale nella Capitale, al suo nuovo tour europeo di pianoforte solo. Un live in cui l’artista ha proposto dal vivo i suoi più grandi successi, creando un’atmosfera di forte impatto emotivo. Alle 21.15 apre il concerto, accolto da un lunghissimo applauso, con il brano «Aria», a cui seguono «No more tears» e «Japan», il suo primo brano composto a 17 anni. Il pubblico è immediatamente catturato dalle note del suo piano tra il classico e contemporaneo. Sul palco arriva anche l’orchestra per «Sunrise», «Symphony of love», «Back to life». Disponibile, dal 14 novembre scorso, su tutte le piattaforme streaming e store digitali, la sua ultima creazione, il «Concerto per violoncello e orchestra MM22», che Allevi ha composto nella stanza d'ospedale durante la lunga degenza oncologica, e colonna sonora del docufilm diretto da Simone Valentini «Allevi – Back to life», presentato all’ultima edizione della Festa del Cinema di Roma.
