한·일 국교정상화 60주년, 평화와 협력의 길 | 2025 제주포럼 | JEJU FORUM 2025
2025년은 한일 국교정상화 60주년을 맞이하는 해이다. 1965년 6월 22일에 체결된 “대한민국과 일본국 간의 기본관계에 관한 조약(이하 한일기본조약)”은 일제강점기로 인한 양국의 역사적 갈등을 청산해나가기 위한 첫걸음이자, 두 나라의 관계를 정상화하는 중요한 이정표였다. 한일 국교정상화 이후 한일 정부는 양국관계를 강화하기 위해 지속적으로 노력해 왔으나 여전히 양국이 극복해야 하는 과제들도 존재한다.본 세션은 1965년 한일기본조약 체결 이후 발전해 온 한일 관계와 그 과정 속에서 드러난 주요 성과와 한계를 살펴보고, 한일 양국의 건설적 미래를 위한 정책적 제언을 제시하고자 한다.
