Verse 1 — Hanuman and the Sun
When You were a child, You swallowed the Sun, mistaking it for a fruit, and darkness spread throughout the three worlds.
The entire world became frightened, wondering who could remove this terrible crisis.
The gods came and humbly pleaded with You. You released the Sun and brought an end to the distress.
Who in this world does not know, O Hanuman, that Your name is Sankat Mochan — the Remover of Troubles?
Verse 2 — Sugriva's Crisis
When Sugriva was terrified because of Bali and lived upon the mountain, anxiously watching the path of the great Lord Rama,
the great sage's curse had created another obstacle, leaving him uncertain about what should be done.
Then, O Mahaprabhu, You assumed the form of a Brahmin and approached Rama, removing the sorrow and distress of His servant Sugriva.

Verse 3 — The Search for Sita
You went together with Angada and the other Vanaras in search of Sita.
Sugriva declared that they must not return without bringing news of Her, otherwise their lives would be in danger.
After everyone became exhausted searching along the ocean shore, You alone brought back news of Sita and saved the lives of the entire search party.

Verse 4 — Finding Sita in Lanka
Ravana terrified Sita, and the demonesses continually caused Her sorrow.
At that moment, mighty Hanuman entered Lanka and destroyed the terrible demons.
When Sita wished to receive reassurance from the sacred Ashoka grove, You gave Her Lord Rama's ring, removing Her grief and giving Her hope.

Verse 5 — Bringing Sanjeevani
When Lakshmana was struck by an arrow and lay unconscious, Ravana's son had caused terrible danger on the battlefield.
You brought the physician Sushena and then went to the mountain where the life-restoring herb was found.
Unable to identify the exact herb, You lifted the entire mountain and brought it back.
Giving the Sanjeevani medicine to Lakshmana, You restored his life.

Verse 6 — The Serpent Bonds
During the war with Ravana, the powerful serpent weapon bound Lord Rama and His entire army.
Everyone became overwhelmed by this terrible crisis.
Then You brought Garuda, the divine eagle, who destroyed the serpent bonds and freed everyone from their fear and suffering.

Verse 7 — Ahiravana
When Ahiravana carried Lord Rama and Lakshmana away to the netherworld,
he prepared to offer Them as a sacrifice after worshipping the Goddess according to his rituals.
You immediately came to Their aid and destroyed Ahiravana together with his army, rescuing Lord Rama and Lakshmana.

You have performed great deeds for the gods and countless beings.
