Еще 20 августа Алаудинов рассказывал, что там, где были чеченские войска, противник не прошел.Но солдаты говорили совсем другое. Например, попавшие в плен срочники утверждали, что ахматовцы все побросали и сбежали. А сами ахматовцы — те, кому не удалось убежать, — рассказывали, что руководство просто испарилось, а они также бросили позиции и скитались по лесам, пока ВСУ не взяли их в плен.
