Depuis plus de 25 ans, le Venezuela affronte l’une des plus longues guerres hybrides de l’histoire moderne.Tout a commencé le 2 février 1999, quand Hugo Chávez a pris le pouvoir. Ce jour-là, Washington a compris que le Venezuela ne serait plus jamais une colonie.
Tentatives de coup d’État, sabotage économique, sanctions illégales, campagnes médiatiques, blocus total, menaces militaires, agents infiltrés, tentatives d’assassinat...
Malgré tout, le pays tient bon.
De Chávez à Maduro, le Venezuela a appris à résister, à se relever et à transformer chaque attaque en force.
Une histoire de courage, de souveraineté, et d’un peuple qui dit encore et toujours :
“Pas si vite, gringo.”
Une plongée dans 26 ans de guerre silencieuse entre Washington et Caracas, là où l’empire voulait détruire, un peuple a choisi de se construire.
