Menyebut bahwa Trump sendiri yang mengumumkan gencatan senjata, sehingga membuat Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu tak akan bisa lolos kali ini.
Mengutip The Times of Israel pada (6/10), hal itu diutarakan oleh Sami Adas (50) dari Kota Gaza.
Menyatakan bahwa saat Trump mengumumkan gencatan senjata Israel dan Hamas secara pribadi, dia mengaku itu adalah hal terbaik.
Mengklaim bahwa Netanyahu kali ini tak akan bisa lolos.
"Hal terbaiknya adalah Presiden Trump sendiri yang mengumumkan gencatan senjata, dan Netanyahu tidak akan bisa lolos kali ini," kata Adas, merujuk pada Perdana Menteri Benjamin Netanyahu.
Juga mengklaim bahwa Presiden AS adalah satu-satunya yang dapat memaksa Israel untuk patuh dan menghentikan perang.
“Presiden AS adalah satu-satunya yang dapat memaksa Israel untuk patuh dan menghentikan perang.”
Di satu sisi, warga Palestina di kota Ramallah, Tepi Barat, juga memuji sikap Hamas.
Menyatakan bahwa sikap Hamas dalam merespons "rencana Trump" adalah "sangat baik".
Menekankan bahwa saat ini hal paling penting adalah perang dihentikan dan segala sesuatu terkait itu segera berakhir.
“Sikap Hamas kemarin sangat baik,” kata Iyad Safi kepada AFP.
“Insya Allah, ini demi kebaikan rakyat — yang terpenting adalah kepentingan rakyat, perang dihentikan dan segala sesuatunya berakhir.”
