Massive Angriffe auf Kiew: Warum die Ukraine russische Raketen nicht mehr abwehren kann
Mit Drohnen und Raketen hat das russische Militär in der Nacht erneut die Ukraine angegriffen. Bei der Angriffswelle auf Kiew sind mindestens 17 Menschen getötet worden. Zudem gab es zahlreiche Verletzte.Bei den massiven Angriffen auf Kiew konnte die ukrainische Luftwaffe nach eigenen Angaben keine einzige russische Rakete abwehren, weil sie nicht mehr über ausreichend Abfangraketen verfügt.
Im Gegensatz zur Abwehr von Drohnen und Marschflugkörpern ist die Ukraine bei ballistischen Raketen auf die Lieferung moderner Abfangraketen durch ihre Unterstützer:innen angewiesen. Selenskyj bittet die Partnerländer deshalb seit Längerem immer wieder um die Lieferung von „Patriot“-Abwehrraketen.
