❌ If you get a warning that your password has leaked, don't panic, but don't ignore it, either. I'll talk about the difference between a real password breach and a scam, why passwords are risky once exposed "in the wild", and the habit that keeps you safe no matter what.

If you’re told to change your password by your device or by a service you use, do it. The password may be “in the wild” (exposed for hackers to use) and available for hackers to try against your specific account or in attempts to hack into other accounts you and/or others may have. How it was exposed may not even be related to you, but it’s important to act on the notification anyway.
