Menurutnya, Presiden berupaya menghadirkan figur baru dengan mazhab ekonomi yang berbeda.
Telisa melihat Presiden Prabowo Subianto ingin mencari figur yang relatif baru, supaya ada penyegaran.
“Selama ini kan mainstream-nya lebih ke market ekonomi. Nah, masyarakat sekarang menginginkan ekonomi kerakyatan,” kata Telisa saat dihubungi, Senin (8/9/2025).
Telisa menyebut, figur Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa dipandang memiliki latar belakang berbeda dibanding menteri sebelumnya.
Purbaya yang berasal dari Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) dikenal sebagai ekonom dengan pendekatan produktif dan sektoral.
Meski begitu, Telisa menyampaikan penghargaan besar kepada Sri Mulyani Indrawati atas kepemimpinannya selama ini.
Ia menyebut, jasa Sri Mulyani dalam menjaga stabilitas fiskal Indonesia tak bisa dipandang remeh.
