Menurut Huda, partainya membuka potensi membuat poros baru di luar anies baswedan dan sosok yang nantinya diusung Koalisi Indonesia Maju.
Huda menyebut DPP PKB masih terus menggodok simulasi nama yang berpotensi paling besar untuk meraih kemenangan.
Dua tokoh yang sedang disimulasikan adalah Anies Baswedan dan Ida Fauziyah.
Sebelumnya, politikus PDIP, Eriko Sotarduga dan Masinton menyebut, kerjasama PKB dan PDIP memungkinkan terjadi dalam pilkada Jakarta dan Jatim.
