GÖTTINGEN: Nacht der Kulturen eskaliert! Polizist schwer verletzt – Täter weiterhin auf der Flucht!Ein Polizist ist bei einer Auseinandersetzung zwischen zwei Personengruppen in Göttingen angeschossen und schwer verletzt worden. Der Beamte wurde im Einsatz durch einen Schuss getroffen und muss operiert werden. Nach Angaben der Polizei besteht derzeit keine akute Lebensgefahr. Die Tat ereignete sich am Samstagabend nahe des Weender Tors. Der mutmaßliche Schütze flüchtete anschließend vom Tatort. Die Polizei war mit einem Großaufgebot, einem Hubschrauber und Spezialkräften im Einsatz. Die Hintergründe der Auseinandersetzung sind bislang unklar. Das Landeskriminalamt hat die Spurensicherung übernommen. Während in der Innenstadt Tausende Menschen die „Nacht der Kulturen“ besuchten, lief die Fahndung die ganze Nacht weiter.
