Você já reparou na quantidade de novos motores que surgiram nos modelos nacionais neste início de 2025? Não é porque as fábricas são boazinhas, mas sim devido a uma obrigação a que todas as montadoras estão sujeitas.Essas marcas já leram a aplicaram o novo padrão de exigências de emissões do Proconv, o L8. Assim, nesse cenário de mudança, o Jeep Compass, por exemplo, perde a opção da motorização diesel, que fica restrita agora ao Commander.
Mas, para compensar, o Jeep Compass vai passar a oferecer duas motorizações com o ciclo Otto, uma flex e outra gasolina. A primeira é o motor Firefly 1.3 Turbo Flex, com a potência reduzida, por causa do Proconve L8, para 163 cv. Já a segunda é o poderoso motor Hurricane 2.0 Turbo, com 272 cv.
