Seusai Pangkalan Militer AS Dibom Teheran, Trump Merengek Minta Qatar Rayu Iran Segera Damai

Hal itu dilakukan demi menghentikan eskalasi konflik yang terjadi dalam beberapa hari terakhir.
Dikutip dari Tribunnews, pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh Perdana Menteri sekaligus Menteri Luar Negeri Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Selasa (24/6/2025).
PM Qatar mengaku telah menghubungi pejabat tinggi Iran melalui sambungan telepon.
Komunikasi tersebut dilakukan menyusul permintaan Presiden AS Donald Trump kepada Emir Qatar untuk menjembatani pembicaraan antara Teheran dan Washington.
Permintaan itu datang sesaat setelah Iran meluncurkan serangan rudal ke pangkalan militer AS di Qatar.
Trump mengklaim bahwa Israel bersedia menghentikan serangan jika Iran melakukan langkah serupa.
Menanggapi itu, Qatar langsung mengirim tim diplomatik tingkat tinggi yang dipimpin langsung oleh perdana menterinya.
Langkah ini menunjukkan peran aktif Qatar sebagai mediator regional di tengah konflik yang makin memanas.
Sementara itu, Qatar berharap upaya ini membuahkan hasil berupa kesepakatan gencatan senjata yang mengakhiri kekerasan.
Meski demikian, peran Qatar sebagai penengah dinilai penting di tengah meningkatnya konflik di Timur Tengah.
