WITTEN: Sechs Affen aus Auffangstation in NRW ausgebüxt!Witten (Nordrhein-Westfalen) – Eine Gruppe Rhesusaffen ist im Ruhrgebiet ausgebüxt. Die sehr intelligenten, aber scheuen Tiere hatten nach Angaben der Polizei am Mittwoch vermutlich Mörtel aus einer Backsteinmauer gekratzt und konnten so ausbrechen, wie ein Polizeisprecher sagte. Bislang konnten die Tiere nicht eingefangen werden. Der WDR hatte zuvor berichtet. Nach Angaben des Senders handelt es sich um sechs der sogenannten Tempelaffen. Dem Bericht zufolge handelt es sich um Tiere, die aus Tierschutzgründen in einer Auffangstation untergebracht gewesen sind. Einer der Affen konnte eingefangen werden – allerdings erst am Donnerstag. Die Verantwortlichen hätten der Polizei glaubhaft versichert, dass von den Tieren keine Gefahr ausgehe. Daher suchen die Einsatzkräfte auch nicht aktiv nach den Affen.„Wer einen Affen in seinem Garten sieht, kann sich aber an die Polizei oder die Feuerwehr wenden“, so der Polizeisprecher. Man stehe in Kontakt mit den Verantwortlichen, die für das Einfangen der Tiere Sorge tragen würden
