Pasukan Perlawanan Palestina, Hamas mendukung langkah yang diambil negara-negara tersebut.
Hamas mengatakan aksi mogok massal delegasi sebelum pidato PM Netanyahu menunjukkan isolasi Israel sebagai akibat dari perang Gaza.
"Memboikot pidato Netanyahu merupakan salah satu manifestasi isolasi Israel dan konsekuensi perang pemusnahan," ujar Taher al-Nunu.
Diketahui, saat Netanyahu berjalan menuju mimbar Majelis Umum, sejumlah delegasi keluar.
Aksi itu dinilai sebagai protes yang disengaja karena perdana menteri adalah pembicara pertama hari itu.
Meski demikian, para pendukungnya masih tetap bertahan di dalam ruangan dan memberikan tepuk tangan.
Izzat al-Rishq, anggota biro politik Hamas lantas memberikan sindiran.
Ia mengatakan, PM Netanyahu tidak memiliki apa pun selain sekelompok pendukung yang memasuki aula PBB hanya untuk bertepuk tangan mendukung genosida.
Hamas lantas menuduh Netanyahu mengulangi kebohongan dan penyangkalan terang-terangan atas genosida.
Selain itu, Netanyahu juga dinilai menutupi kelaparan sistematis yang dilakukan oleh Israel sendiri.
Oleh karena itu, pemboikotan terhadap pidato Netanyahu dinilai menunjukkan tumbuhnya solidaritas glogal terhadap rakyat Palestina.
"Jika dia benar-benar peduli pada tawanannya, dia akan mengakhiri pemboman brutal, pembantaian, dan penghancuran Gaza, tetapi sebaliknya, dia berbohong dan terus membahayakan nyawa mereka," kata Hama
