Un incendio è divampato nella serata di ieri sul Monte Brione. L’allarme è scattato alle 23:35 e si è concretizzato nell’intervento dei vigili del fuoco volontari di Riva del Garda, supportati da quelli dei corpi di Arco, Tenno e Molina di Ledro. Sul posto anche l’ispettore dell’unione distrettuale Alto Garda e Ledro, Lorenzo Righi. Alle 3 l’incendio, che presentava un fronte di circa 4-500 metri, si presentava sotto controllo. A complicare le operazioni, la presenza del vento che alimentava le fiamme e la difficoltà nel raggiungere il fronte con le mandate di acqua, a causa della distanza dalla strada percorribile tra l’altro solo con mezzi fuoristrada. Nel corso della notte è proseguita l'attività di sorveglianza dell'area. Questa mattina sono previsti ulteriori sopralluoghi, mentre una leggera pioggia sta interessando la zona, contribuendo a contenere il rischio di una eventuale riprese delle fiamme.
