Eccola. A distanza di oltre due anni e mezzo dall’inizio dei lavori, finanziati dal Pnrr con 92,3 milioni di euro, sono cominciate in questi giorni le prime corse di prova, in notturna, della nuova seconda linea del tram di Padova, la Sir 3 che collega la Stazione con il quartiere di Voltabarozzo, passando per i due ospedali cittadini, il Giustinianeo e il Sant’Antonio. Con a bordo il sindaco Sergio Giordani e l’assessore alla Mobilità, Andrea Ragona, i convogli su rotaia hanno percorso, poco più che a passo d’uomo, il tratto di strada compreso tra lo scalo ferroviario e l’incrocio tra via Morgagni e via Altinate. Verso metà giugno, è previsto l’inizio della vera e propria fase di pre-esercizio, durante la quale ognuno dei sette nuovi tram dovrà effettuare un rodaggio di almeno mille chilometri.
