Kebakaran KM Barcelona V: Nakhoda Jadi Tersangka, 2 Penumpang Masih Hilang | INDO UPDATE
MANADO, KOMPAS.TV - Polda Sulawesi Utara menetapkan nakhoda KM Barcelona V sebagai tersangka dalam insiden kebakaran kapal di perairan Pulau Talise, Minahasa Utara pada Minggu (20/07/2025) lalu.Berdasarkan hasil gelar perkara oleh Ditpolairud Polda Sulut, nakhoda KM Barcelona V berinisial IB ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Penyidik menemukan adanya dugaan ketidaksesuaian jumlah penumpang dengan manifes, serta tidak berjalannya SOP kedaruratan saat insiden terjadi. Sementara 13 anak buah kapal masih diperiksa bersama sejumlah saksi lain.
Pencarian korban terbakarnya KM Barcelona V di perairan Talise, Minahasa Utara, Sulawesi Utara terus dilakukan.
Menurut data Basarnas hingga Selasa (22/07/2025) siang, 2 orang masih dinyatakan hilang, 575 orang selamat dan 3 orang meninggal dunia. Dengan demikian, 580 orang menjadi korban dalam insiden ini.
Namun jumlah korban berdasarkan data Basarnas sebanyak 580 orang berbeda jauh dengan manifes kapal.
Jumlah penumpang KM Barcelona V berdasarkan manifes hanya 280 orang, termasuk 15 anak buah kapal dan nakhoda.
Menteri Perhubungan Dudy Purwagandhi tengah memverifikasi perbedaan data tersebut serta memberikan kesempatan kepada kepolisian untuk melakukan penyelidikan.
KM Barcelona 5 terbakar di perairan Talise, Minahasa Utara pada Minggu (20/07/2025) siang waktu Indonesia Tengah.
Kapal berlayar dari Pelabuhan Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud menuju Pelabuhan Manado.
